The MyMERT team recently participated in a search and rescue exercise (SAREX) that took place in conjunction with the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2025 (LIMA '25).
This exercise was designed to enhance the execution of search and rescue (SAR) operations, serving as a preparatory measure for the forthcoming exhibition. The initiative also focused on integrating various national rescue and security agencies, signifying a collaborative effort in emergency response.
Notable participants included Dr. Fatahul Laham, the head of the Emergency Medical and Trauma Services, Dr. Rashdan, head of the Disaster Health Management Subcommittee, and Dr. Zainal, head of Kedah's Emergency Medical Technicians.
This collaborative training aimed to refine the skills and coordination among different agencies to ensure effective and timely responses during future emergencies and events at LIMA '25.
