Introduction to DLS 2025Disaster Life Support (DLS) 2025 was held on May 20-22, 2025, at the Emergency Department & Selayang Hospital. This program aims to empower the front line in disaster management. Facing various disaster threats, including situations involving chemical, radiological, biological, nuclear, and explosive (CRBNE) components, is very challenging.

Therefore, this DLS 2025 program is expected to provide effective solutions through enhanced hospital preparedness and response to crisis situations.The DLS 2025 module brought together 50 participants consisting of emergency medicine specialists and medical officers from various hospitals. The selection of participants is strategic, considering their expertise in the medical field is crucial to ensuring the program is implemented effectively.

This module is carefully structured to strengthen the skills and knowledge of participants in handling emergency cases during disasters that can have a positive impact on the disaster management system in Malaysia. Conclusion With the implementation of DLS 2025, we hope to enhance the level of awareness and capability of medical institutions to respond quickly and efficiently in disaster situations. This program not only provides training to participants but also raises public awareness about the importance of effective disaster management. With a comprehensive and collaborative approach, we can prepare the community and health services to face any future eventualities.
