Recently, Hospital Tuanku Ampuan Najihah conducted an Introduction to Medical Emergency Response Training (IMERT) aimed at both emergency and administrative staff to enhance awareness of hospital disaster management. T

he training syllabus covered essential topics such as disaster concepts, hospital disaster activation procedures, roles in disaster management, crisis communication, disaster documentation, and post-disaster management, including psychological first aid. This course successfully equipped participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond effectively in disaster situations, fostering a culture of preparedness and responsiveness at the hospital level.

The initiative highlighted the importance of collaboration and communication in ensuring patient safety and efficient management during emergencies. Overall, the training was a crucial step towards building a more resilient healthcare system. This training was lead by Dr.Thinagaraj Sanniasi , Emergency Physician Hospital Tuanku Ampuan Najihah.
